Sustainability
Move energy.
Accelerate electrification.
MOVOLT connects the electrification of heavy-duty transport with more efficient use of renewable energy. Our concept addresses the point where two key energy-transition challenges meet: generation sites sometimes have more wind and solar power available than the grid can absorb, while logistics sites simultaneously lack sufficient grid capacity to charge their electric trucks.

Two benefits. One system.
Use surplus energy
Avoid redispatch
Capture renewable energy before it has to be curtailed.
Lower CO₂
Strengthen GHG & ESG
Make green energy economically and regulatorily valuable at the depot.

Avoid Redispatch
Mobile battery storage makes it possible to capture renewable electricity where it might otherwise have to be curtailed. The stored energy is then transported to where it is actually needed and supplied to the charging infrastructure at the customer site. This makes additional green energy usable, reduces unused generation potential and brings energy supply and demand together across both location and time.
Green power at the depot.
Double impact.
01 — Economic effect
GHG quota
Renewable energy is made available exactly where fleets need it. This creates the foundation for an earlier transition from diesel to electric trucks. The locally generated green power flows directly into vehicles without routing through the public grid — making the charging energy fully emission-free.
02 — Regulatory effect
ESG compliance
At the same time, this charging concept reduces both vehicle-related emissions (Scope 1) and energy-related emissions (Scope 2) of the fleet to zero. This makes the sustainability contribution measurably reportable.
Measurable competitive advantage
An improved ESG rating strengthens fleet operators while simultaneously reducing the Scope 3 supply chain emissions of their customers.
